Selling your homecare business -Fully Booked

For owners of homecare services who may be considering retiring or leaving the market for other reasons, selling the business to another homecare provider or investor can offer a way of realising the financial value built up in the business.

The purpose of this seminar is for providers who are thinking of selling their homecare business to gain insights on how to prepare for and manage the sales process to a successful conclusion from speakers with extensive experience of selling, buying and advising on homecare business sales.

Topics to be covered during the seminar include:

• practical issues relating to preparing the business for sale
• understanding what buyers are looking for in a homecare business
• business valuation and how to demonstrate the value of the business for prospective purchasers
• engaging with the purchaser market efficiently and effectively
• engaging with professional services (legal; financial)
• understanding different types of sale (eg: Asset and goodwill; share sale) and the pros and cons of different approaches for sellers and buyers
• costs and likely timelines required to sell a business
• all aspects of the sales process - pre, during and post-sale.
