Safeguarding for homecare provoders

This new workshop helps organisations look at how they can ensure the safety and well-being of people in need of care and support services, based on the principles of the Care Act 2014.

This workshop is aimed at Registered managers, team leaders and senior staff. It will cover the principles of the Care Act (2014), helping homecare providers to understand who is at risk, recognise indicators of harm and abuse, understand relevant legislation and how this relates to practice.
The workshop also looks at how to effectively manage risk and ensure The workshop will support homecare providers to effectively ensure people are safe from harm and
abuse by understanding what a safeguarding policy should include, what a risk assessment should contain and how to ensure compliance with regulations.
