Dementia Care train the trainer

This distance learning Dementia care train the trainer is delivered via zoom. The training will support homecare providers to ensure best practice when training their staff to deliver high quality care to service users who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of developing dementia, and their family and carers. This train the trainer course has been created specifically for the homecare sector by UKHCA and the Alzheimer’s Society, the UK's leading dementia support and research charity.
The training will support homecare providers to:
- Ensure best practice when training their staff.
- Learn how to ensure their staff deliver high quality care to service users who have been diagnosed with or who are at risk of developing dementia, their family and carers.
- Explore all aspects of care and support as covered in "The well pathway for dementia".
All attendees will receive a detailed and comprehensive dementia care training pack (currently unavailable to buy separately), which includes a trainer’s handbook, PowerPoint presentations, exercises, handouts and competency tests.
